Cozy with good food – I have been to the Curry Leaf several times since it opened, usually for dinner and once for the noon buffet. There are lots of good Indian restaurants in Jordan/TST so what sets Curry Leaf apart for me is the service. I always feel welcome and feel they enjoy serving good fod. It’s quiet and I’m left alone to read but someone is always at hand the moment I want them.

My favorite dish is the tandoori cauliflower, but I have enjoyed everything I’ve had there.

I prefer ordering a la cart here but the buffet had a nice selection the one time I had it. Not expansive but a good variety. The tomato soup was excellent.

All in all, a nice addition to the neighborhood.

If you are staying near the metro Jordan or you are there, do not hesitate to go to this little Indian restaurant at the bottom of the mau tam street (just after the Starbucks). This restaurant is very good and the welcome is excellent. You will not be disappointed !!

In my experience, too many Indian restaurants serve food that seems to have been too long on the steam table, with doubtful standards of hygiene and cleanliness. This small, new establishment is in an entirely different league. The decor is chic and modern, and our meals were more or less perfect, with fresh and delectable condiments. The tandoori chicken was the best I’ve ever tasted, the nan was lovely, the servers were gracious and friendly without being obsequious. And to top it off, the prices were modest. We’ll gladly return and we highly recommend Curry Leaf.

We ordered take-away from Curry Leaf two nights in a row. As other reviewers pointed out, the food is delicious, albeit expensive, but is cheaper than dining at our hotel. The children loved the butter chicken and naan bread and my husband enjoyed the chicken tikka masala. I had the best hot cauliflower and broccoli curry I have ever had. The quality of food and service was first class.

Our last meal before flying home and it was great. Nice service. Good value for money (not cheap but quality produce, presentation and quantity). Complimentary papadums and chutneys. Pani Purees, steamed rice, raita, Rogan Josh and Tandoori Chicken plus a couple drinks came to HK$481 (plus service charge). Ok it’s not cheap but as I said good quality and pleasant service and atmosphere. Worth it.

“Very friendly staff and excellent Naan” – We only had a quick lunch with 3 different Naans, 3 different lassis and fresh coconut – all very excellent. Very friendly staff and upscale ambience. Next time we’ll bring more hunger and take the lunch buffet.
